CSRT Module 3: Concrete Repair Methods & Materials


Module 3 covers repair application methods and materials. Repair methods include pour, form-and-pour, form-and-pump, preplaced aggregate, shotcrete, low-pressure spraying, hand troweling, and dry packing. Properties of repair materials are discussed and include strength, shrinkage, permeability, bond, set/cure time, and workability. In addition, this module discusses common admixtures used in concrete repair materials, corrosion preventing measures, and equivalent concrete cover.
