Description

The demonstration will cover the basic steps, products, and processes involved with dying and polishing concrete. The equipment, tooling, chemicals, and processes used to achieve a polished floor will be demonstrated. 

Objectives:

  1. Understand the materials needed for polished concrete
  2. Understand the different coloring techniques
  3. Identify the appropriate tooling
  4. Select the appropriate protective treatment and maintenance products

Nick Savage is the leader of Prosoco's Concrete Flooring Group based out of Chicago. Nick is a construction industry veteran of over 15 years and has been with Prosoco for 10 years. For the majority of that time, he has worked with architects, contractors, and distributors on finished concrete flooring projects. He has been involved in high profile projects for The Ohio State University, University of Chicago, the Chicago Old Main Post Office, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Ford, GM, and Navy Pier. Nick is a member of ASCC/CPC, ICRI, CSI, and ACI.

Andrew Donaldson started in the concrete repair industry in 2000 working as a field engineer for Stonhard Inc. In 2005, he started a supply company Ryno Tools in Addison, IL. He sold Ryno Tools in December of 2010 to Jon-Don Inc. and started with Jon-Don in January 2011 where he is currently employed.
